The Airfix Bloodhound is available in most shops.. I only bought mine a few months ago.. :)
-
That Russian SA-2 is hard to find but the, british bloodhound i quite easy
-
They've restarted the Bloodhound kit, though the Russian one is still unavailable.

wow thats the best airfix movie i have seen yet

Hi Mate, both kits are 1/72 kits from Airfix. The first is the British Bloodhound and the second is the Russian SA-2 Guideline. The bad news is that both are long discotinued, you might find them on E-Bay occasionally but be prepared to pay a lot for them !!.

I built the model 30 yrs ago and it's probably been destroyed now :-( As for the sound effects - I just Googled for effects I needed, you need some patience to go thru pages of results and probably download 3-4 unsuitable sound effects for every one that matches what you're after.

Thanks for your comments. The camera was my Dad's: a windup camera (no batteries) dating back to the 1950s. Five airfix models were featured: British Bulldog missile set, Russian SAM missile set, Chieftan tank, Leopard tank and one more the name of which escapes me but looks like Sherman. In those days I was probably building them at a rate of about 1 per month - they all needed complex multi layer paint jobs!
