The profit motive causes all ill-gotten-gain. That's why society must always decide all the standards by which profit can be permitted. For example violence - society has decided that profiting via violence is immoral and is thus not to be permitted. The banning of violence is a societal, governmental value, NOT a free market value. Society should also understand that Mitt Romney is no producer - he's an economic polluter. He is no engineer, inventor, worker. So he should not have been rewarded.

This is so perverse as to be downright treacherous. The profit motive is ONLY non-threatening IF law ONLY allows the morally best people to always become the richest (which is far from the case). Right-wing perverse ideology ignores the role of government to reflect society's agreeable standards of right and wrong - instead favoring "liberty".
