For all you Steam Engine & Rail Road fans out there...Shot this on May 31, 2006, mile 178 of U.P.'s main Line #1 @ around 11:00 A.M just West of the Gibbon Junction. Edited June 1, 2006. This was my Dad's favorite Engine, previously known as the 8444. It was on it's West bound leg to North Platte & all points West on it's Summer Tour.
I am a U.P. Conductor & all things came together to allow me the opportunity to shoot this scene; as my train, the 6000 seen @ the end of the clip, was stopped to allow to the 844 'roll by' before we took the Gibbon turn South onto the Marysville Branch from where the 844 had just come. (Thanks Dad!!!)
It's cool, G. Good job.

neato. i like the idea of the sepia and b&w effects, but they sort of make it harder to get a clear view of the train and steam in action. would love to see a full color version too maybe?
