  • @egmaalouf the runway has water on it, so when the pilot applied reverse thrust it disturbed the water

  • I never seen a 747 with this aprouch speed. It is supeposed to be very turbolent there.

What do you think about, my friends

  • please can anyone explain why white smoke came out of the engine? and the disappeared?!

  • forskin!

  • @antreaSallonika Reverse cannot be activated if you're not in ground

  • @antreaSallonika the plane will come to a sudden stop and go into reverse lol

the plane will start loosing altitude

  • what happens if the pilot puts the reverse thrust up in the air ? ( not that he would)

  • Modern jet engines are basicaaly two engines. You have one engine where the fuel is burned. That provides power for the big fan at the front which generates most of the thrust with the rest being from the exhaust. Thrust reverse only redirects the thrust from the fan, not from the exhaust. As for standing next to a jet engine while its running. Not recommended, especially without hearing protection or special training. Some of the bigger engines produce over 3000 lbs of thrust just at idle.

  • I have always wondered how that works that reverse thrust. does any thrust leave the engine behind... sorry, i cant describe it that well. like for an example, can you stand behind the plane if the reverse thrust is on? and otherwise, can you stand next to the engine if the thrust is on? please answer :D thanks!!
