I found her voice too small for Tosca - Good singer but not enough volume.

Superb!

@corellithebest It's a filmed version, made in 1960. The DVD is available in many on-line shops.
-
Olivero and Fioravanti didn't make many recordings. Mostly available via
live recordings.
I think Olivero made her Met debut in 1975 as Tosca when she was 65.
Tnx 4 the post.

In those days, in the Golden Age of Opera, there were amazing operatic artists in Italy, and many of them weren't even widely known, but they were high-class singers and artists nevertheless!

Does any one happen to know perhaps whether this is a film or stage performance? And where can I find it? The tenor is also very good, I didn't know him before. And Olivero and Fioravanti are AWESOME, especially Olivero, who is such a SUBLIME TOSCA! She is perhaps the only Tosca that could be measured to Callas's, in terms of the intensity of acting and interpretation!

Fioravanti wasn't a great actor, at least judgeing from this filmed version, but he was fantastic baritone, incredibly huge voice.

A PERFECT PAIR- AMAZING- thanks for sharing it...This is a geme.

Does anyone know, where I can find a recording? I do not find anything on amazon or something similar, but I really want to listen to the whole interpretation. Is there maybe even a dvd, or video? Thanks for helping me out.

Fioravanti is one of my favorite interpreters of Scarpia on video. He reminds me of a large cat. And Olivero's Tosca is great, too.
