After their very successfull release on Wally Lopez his Factomania Label - their techhouse anthem "Hallelujaaahhh" has been huge @ Space Ibiza this summer! - Pedro Mercado & Karada are back on Creamminal Records with Benirras EP!
Last year when they started to work on their already 3th Creamminal EP, there was a huge fire in their beloved Ibiza in fact the worst fire on the white isle since 1993 - which affected over 300 hectares of forest and woodland. The fire took place in the beautifull Benirras in the northwest of the island. Benirras is a small bay off the beaten path in Ibiza, but famous for its hippy parties bringing the beach alive with their drum sessions! So enough inspiration for a complete Benirras EP.
The title track "Fire in Benirras" is a melodic masterpiece, definitely a more than worthy successor of their own "Something Phat". The 2 other tracks "Hippie Smile"& "Off The Beaten Path" have a more techy sound, perfect for the peak hours on the dancefloor. Finally Pedro Mercado & Karada did something special by each remixing their own tracks: "Hippie Smile" got remixed by Karada, and "Off The Beaten Path" by Pedro Mercado.
