Yesterday, the PS22 Chorus was visited by the amazing new artist, Susan Justice, as she invited the chorus to join her on some songs from her forthcoming debut album, Eat Dirt! Susan is an incredible singer/songwriter, just recently signed to EMI. Truly a unique talent and person, we can expect big things from her judging by the caliber of the performances she's laid out with PS22!

Here the kids join Susan on the title track of her upcoming album, "Eat Dirt." The message of this song really resonated with us, which basically says that often you have to go against the grain to carve your own life path, emphasized in the repeated lyric of the chorus, "so I figure that it pays to cross the line and eat a little dirt sometimes."

Make sure you check out the previously posted "Forbidden Fruits" & "I Wonder," and stay tuned for two more songs to appear from our fantastic afternoon with Susan!

  • Stop doing this! You're making me cry with every video you post! But actually, no, please never stop. The tears I shed are nowhere near sad; I am just deeply touched by the kids' beautiful voices and their innocence and yet already maturity. And by your beautiful and amazing talent and personality, Mr B. Thank you for being you and giving these wonderful kids the opportunity to be themselves too.

This is a marvelous piece of art; I look forward to hearing more from both Susan and the chorus :)

  • I love it! "Next time I'll try to keep it mean" lol!

  • the girl with the white flower in her hair is like the cutest thing ever! she is so passionate!!! love the chorus, love susan justice, love the teacher - you're all doing an absolutely incredible job!!

  • Wow she can sing. Hey ppl. When stupid bitches say oh no body can sing good anymore. Everyones crappy. I already have a list of modern day singers who can SING even if they are underrated. And this girl is definitely on it!! :)

  • @agreggofsociety ...also, I have been advocating for "Old Man" by Neil Young but I am changing that. Now I think "Heart of Gold" might be more appropriate. ;-)

  • After reading Susan's bio and the lyrics for this song on her website, this took on a hole new meaning, really powerful. Having her visit your class seems even more important in that light considering what some of the kids might be up against in their day to day life. Greg, what you are doing for your kids, beyond the music (which is great and beautiful), truly is special and should be commended.

  • Hello I am Luara eloi and I live in Brazil, I love your work and made available to all who know and enjoy both very much, you are wonderful. Congratulations to you all

  • Love this... great message, beautiful voices!

Cassara probably has just as many beautiful songs within herself as well!

  • AMAZING!!! Keep it up you are such wonderful singers. and sooooooooooo cute too. Mr. B it would be so awesome if you could teach them the song 'shine' by Ricky Fante. I know the kids would just kill it

  • amazing ;*

  • Love you ALL!!!!! <3
