  • omg.. it's so beautiful, it almost made me cry..

    love this version ♥

  • AXL IS THE MAN ..

  • It's such a beautifull master piece.. it would make anyone cry. the interesting part is axl wrote it before the appetite for destruction.. when he had a piano near him he used to play the first chords.. tracii guns always asked why do you always play that? and axl used to say "one day i'll finish this song.. and its gonna be something great" well.. he was right.. It is something big!

  • Beautiful...

  • @Brownyy123 3) The reason the band wanted 2 separate releases was, at the time, for the fans. I remember hearing a live radio interview with the band before the albums came out. Axl said they had all these songs they wanted to put out, but if they released a double album it would be over $20. So they thought a kid and his buddy would both go in, one buys one, one buys the other, then they could go home and copy from each other. This of course pissed off the label, but GnR had total control then

  • @Brownyy123 2) On top of that GnR signed a pretty exclusive deal for their first album. They talked to several different companies, but ultimately decided to go with Geffen because Geffen promised them complete control over their material. That means managers had no say over what went on the album. To this day Axl still has the same deal. That's also why UYI 1 and 2 had so many songs and was a double release. Geffen wanted to release it as a double album. GnR said no and made 2 separate releases

  • @Brownyy123 lololol. ok. I read the book too pal. But before the book even came out it was well known that Slash or nobody else in the band wanted November Rain on Appetite. Furthermore, even though Axl was annoyed by this, he ultimately agreed for two reasons. 1, it wasn't right for Appetite. 2) he didn't feel the band was ready at the time for the song in order to get it the way he wanted it. There's a lot more info in the world than Slash's book. The stories date back 20 years before the book

  • @bandit7498

I have taken this out of the slash biography...

  • @ChrisMaciel88 lololololo. November Rain was something Axl had for years, even before GnR. Axl wanted on AFD but the rest of the band didn't think it was right for the album they were making at the time. Axl of course was pissed about it, but at the time they were more democratic in their decision making and the majority won.

  • @Brownyy123 Not the management, the rest of the band. November Rain is an incredible song, but does NOT fit in with the tempo, pace and sound of AFD AT ALL.
