On the day of the House vote, November 7, 2009, after several months of debate, the House Republicans decided to rally their base outside the Capitol while votes were going on. I decided to see how many of them knew how many of their constituents were uninsured.
On the day of the vote, not one Republican could answer the question. The person in teh video that says he's voting against the bill but knew that 26% of his constituents are uninsured in Rep. Boren, the only Democrat opponent of health care reform I ran into today.
Gee, if their health insurance is so freakin great, why can't everyone you and I have it?

Having access to health care and insurance are two different things.
The health reform bill will make insurance a lot more expensive, forcing many people to drop their insurance.
But again, insurance has little to do with having access to health care. In an emergency no emergency room will deny you treatment that will keep you alive. At least for now.

This video is hilarious, these Congressmen (and Bachmann) are clueless!
Their look of bewilderment, fear, anxiety, and shock was priceless, hell, at least 3 of them literally ran away.

why bother knowing how many are uninsured when it is irrelevant? point is if people dont have insurance it is because they CANT AFFORD IT..this bill wont change that. It will mean they have to pay their ins bill before they buy food or pay their rent
