Not surprised at all. I lived not too far from Macon.Georgia is a harsh place with a lot of unfriendly people, whether cops or not.The churches are mostly liberal, not all of them are but a lot of them are.The further towards Florida you go the more like a third world country it gets to be in many ways.They need Jesus but He is not being preached. Tradition holds sway in a lot of places instead. I worked for last the census there and saw a lot of things!

You shouldve known the police can do watever they want they're the police you shouldve just left. a mature Christian would have more respect than that and more wisdom. where in the bible does it say to hold a sign and disobey the governing authorities? As a Christian I even say that was wrong of you!

If the street preachers would have been black they would have been beating with clubs, shot, and then arrested by the black cop. Considered yourself blessed.

@sixthday132: He wasn't blowing his voice out to people who didn't want to hear him on a bullhorn. St. Paul never used a bullhorn. It is arrogant & narcissistic, & bullying for these people to highjack these public events for your own silly pathetic religious message. The man had a valid complaint, these obnoxious people were ruining these people's fun by yelling at them. There was a face painting booth which was being ruined by this demonstration.

The one fella that was mad because he didn't want his kids to hear "that S@#$'" should get father of the year award. He doesn't want his kids hearing about Jesus but evidently approves of his own fowl language in front of them. Nice F-bomb in public which is perfectly fine but don't talk about the Lord. Warped times we live brother. I wish I had a street preacher to stand guard over while I was on duty....wouldn't that be a refreshing site?

I am a policeman and this whole thing really bothers me. I hope you sue the department that arrested you.  This is a clear violation of your 1st amendment rights. When will we finally see a cop do the right thing and protect these folks' individual rights. We are a nation of laws NOT MOB RULE. Now that being said, I think you handled it wrong by being led of yelling in handcuffs. This is not a good testimony. Leave when they tell you then sue them. Your kids should not see you being arrested

Did you go after them for violating your rights? Keep us inform concerning this crime against our constitutional right of free speech! That was a public gathering place so how could they demand for you to stop?

its a shame people people don't teach there kids the full bible anymore. People think they need to water down the bible to keep the "bad things" like hell from them. I saw a video of billy graham calling hell a side trail. Thank yall for preaching this all important message, and thank you for not keeping it from anyone including kids.
