Race Driver Grid PC demo. difficulty on extreme

running on a q6600
2 GB RAM
nvidea geforce 8500GT

with fraps getting a solid 30 FPS.
yes i know i smashed my car. but i did win an extreme race without serious damage :D

yeah well i accidentely severed my cables and none are touching so i dunno what it is could be a further break in the wire if its that i'll check later on today, then i'll repair it and race again :)

@monsterrocks I have that with my brake pedal. But it is becouse the cable is broken at some point. If i twist it right it works fine ^^

Nothing duck tape cant fix so far. I probably will solder on a new cable.

@meamjustme i play NFS and Netkarpro and my pots on my accelerator have given up keeps flickering on full throttle drops to quarter to half alot of the time

@monsterrocks Well i have a G25. And i still drive GRID with a controller. Its a arcade game. The wheel i use with GT5 LFS and NKpro. But it is on its last legs. Took it apart several times. Reversed the pedals lately.:)

@meamjustme yeah i'm more used to a wheel though i'm sure if got my hands ona new wheel coz my G25 has given up the ghost i'd absolutely fly :)

@monsterrocks Get a 360 controller. You can find the wired ones rather cheap. Games wich have the games for windows logo on the box will support it fully. Even changing the menu's. You dont have to calibrate or set the buttons up. Everything works in one go. Controlls are just like a 360. I own a PS3 but got fallout new vegas for my PC becouse the controller is so much better ^^

@meamjustme well i'm using one of those fake ones that companys rip off and all i get is full throttle on and full brake on etc can't modulate it or anything, thats why TC had to be turned on otherwise i would just spin

@monsterrocks I have no cleu about the TC. It has been 3 years since this video was made...

And GRID and a wheel equals fail. I know couse i own a rather expensive one :P

You are better off with a 360 controller if played on a PC.

i reckon if u have the difficulty on extreme and have the TC on it's very hard to beat em, coz TC slows u down alot in this game from what i've experienced no matter how hard i go with it on they seem to catch me :S hopefully i'll get a new wheel thing hate my joypad on full throttle on etc, really sucks, if i had everything off i'd drive alot better then i do now  :)

@jacostea YEah. Its not a simulator. And they fixed that in de release game. I played that multiple times and racing there on extreme was a bit harder.
