So many interferences in the recording... what could be the cause?

It's a camera mounted to the outside, so it has to endure great forces. Besides, the signal has to be transmitted to Earth, of course wireless. As the vehicle is going very fast, and other data channels are always more important, sometimes they loose the signal.

@dechm4af No it's not the wrong hole, it's the same pad as they use for the Space Shuttle program, only this ons is modified for the Ares 1-X, but well, the program is cancelled.

Oh, yeah...I was being more sarcastic than serious....though I didn't know that camera number went into the hundreds.

I remember nasa's ground cam being very low quality for this launch - at least over the nasa online stream and replays from the news.

But, thanks to Obama we don't have to see another again.
