MOTION: THIS HOUSE WOULD ABOLISH THE MULTI-PARTY SYSTEM.

MSU-IIT Debate Varsity Team DEFEATED the University of Sto. Tomas team at "Frankahan" Square off @ ANC last Wednesday, November 12. It was a win by split decision. Nevertheless, the MSU-IIT team had shown its debating prowess over the Manila-based UST Team. UST team even claimed that they were already a "resident" of the SQUARE OFF at ANC because they had been joining the event, and looked down at the newbie MSU-IIT team. But with the brilliant minds of Mara Nanaman, REI LENA MARANDA, and Ara Reyna Mamon, the MSU-IIT debate team booted the self-claimed "residents" out early from this SQUARE OFF's season. This only shows, that MSU-IIT is an institution to reckon with if only given a chance. And the Iliganons should have every reason to be proud of it.

well, it turns out that losers and their "friends" or perhaps those people who can't accept the changes that's molding the debate community nowadays. And perhaps most of the "antique" universities in the field of debate are quite bitter with the sprouting of new quality debaters. And this is very evident with the comments from our adversaries. And please don't brag any competition results because we all know that MOST of the adjudications are subjective. Even in the established national comps.

actually they have to talk fast in order to lay on the table the much needed points and arguments. most of the time, 5 minutes is short enough for good arguments. ergo, they have to talk as fast and as clear as they can. when it comes to high tone of voices, i believe it's more on the adrenaline rush perhaps? :P

Do tell how the comments of adversaries show bitterness . If you think reacting towards your win is the bitterness, let me say that your degrading of the university is just very "react-able", thank you. :)

Do upload the whole debate. Your speakers are really good in emphasis and such but your win would seem more credible to the youtube community if you presented the cases of the other side. I don't think that will a problem to you.Good day.
