The Maybelline ColorSensational line should smell like honey or coconuts, but there was a batch that I guess missed the fragrance and smells like plastic and awful. I guess you got one from that batch (one of my backups I ordered online ended up with that smell) but just know that that line is supposed to smell really good, so if you like it, don't give up on it. =]
