http://www.cleanairgardening.com/coco-fiber-bricks.html Add water to these coconut fiber bricks and watch them grow into useful soil! This package of sicks bricks turns into enough soil medium to fill a large wheelbarrow, and it's fun to watch!
check th EC of the run off, as with these cheap compressed blocks they usually contain a poisonous amount of salts which will need to be leached out by flushing with water which is a massive pain in the ass.
EVERYONE: this is Coco COIR in this video, NOT CocoFIBER. There is a HUGE difference between the two. The coir is more like soil, the fiber is not like soil at all. For example, the Fiber is amazing in just about every hydroponic growing system, whereas the Coir is disastrous in every hydroponic growing system. The guy who made this video named it incorrectly.
this stuff drains too fast and doesn't hold enough moisture. for manual watering it doesn't stay moist enough. YOU also might fined this stuff doesnt sotre nutrients as well as soil or peat.
wow! im gonna do that! and add manure and blood and bone meal, and food composts, kelp meal, bat guano and a whole bunch of other shit and i'll have the best soil ever!

@1982FMJ you really might want to read into coco coir, because you just listed the very opposite of what it does.
