Gatchaman Intro 1

This is the REAL intro 1 to Gatchaman. You can tell by the original animation that is present on the video (Jun jumping/flip-flop over the motorcycle and other stuff). That animation is missing from the other videos that are out there.
Also, this is taken from a 12 year old VHS tape (the cheapest available at the time also) so the quality is not so good.

I think the other Gatchaman theme was originally the ending while this was the intro, but they swapped them a few episodes in.

Dont know how, but listening to this brings tears to my eyes. Being a kid really was fun, and watching stuff like this really makes you remember. Viva la childood! Viva la Gatchaman!

I only wish this was made available when i was a kid. It's a shame im 30 and have to wait till im older to see this Japanese version. Thank God for you tube and the internet. Thanks for posting. Gotchaman is my all time favorite cartoon. I grew up watching this, SPEED RACER, VOLTRON, TRANSFORMERS, GI JOE, THUNDERCATS, SILVERHAWKS. This is what being a kid was all about. Innocent and pure back in the day.

it captures the innocence of the time period.....back then shows had imagination and dared you to dream (in a good way) now everyone is too cynical to dream or do anything that doesnt make them a buck

Can someone explain me why is there another opening (The one ANIMETAL made a cover of...)? Are there 2 intros or what?
