This amp is a copy of a 5F1 '59 Fender Tweed Champ that I built in 2004 from a Mojotone kit. Amp is for sale on Ebay. Kit retails for $500, but I'll take a lot less than that, plus it's fully assembled and ready to go. Kit is basically the same as the one Mojo sells today except the tube sockets on this one are Marshall style and the speaker is an Italian Jensen knockoff. It has an Alnico magnet and sounds pretty good. Let me know if you have any questions. You can read about the Mojo kit here:

Thanks.

  • Hey brwilli, what did it sell for?

I'm thinking of building one or the tweed deluxe.

    P.S. nice chops.

  • @kd4jvg

I think I got $450 for it? Honestly I can't remember! Might have been $500. I have one of those Deluxe's as well and it is excellent. Search "Brian Bunn of Decemberadio teaches guitar lesson" to hear it. I'd pony up the extra bucks and get the Deluxe. You won't be sorry.
