Cayote is a colloquialism that some of us backward new englanders say. Coy dog, fisher cat (instead of fisher) and faucet are other examples. Hes not pronouncing it incorrectly, that's just how he talks.

I love how he pronounces cayote incorrectly. He pronounces it like "kai ote" when really it's like "kai yotey"
