GruntSoldiers - E3 09 Part 3 Sony Review

Hey guys

Luckily no technical problems with this one, just the fact that I was ill yesterday and couldn't be bothered to do anything. I have also been working all day so have had to do this video in like 2 hours. Was pretty intense!

Anyway this video is of course talking about sony's E3 press conference. It was a good year for them showing off games like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, MAG, Gran Turismo PSP, Gran Turismo 5, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Agent, Assassins Creed 2, Final Fantasy XIII / XIV, Mod Nation Racer, The LAst Guardian and God of War 3. They also showed their new model of the PSP called PSPGo and an un named motion sensing device for the PS3.

Its been fun getting back into the flow of making videos and pelase suggest some games to do tutorials on. Try and suggest new games rather than old ones because its likely if the game is old the tutorial has been done before.

dedicated servers work better than xbox's peer to peer servers..why do you think ppl lag so much on gears1 and 2..?

When a company only has a few servers, say germany and france in europe, then it means I have to connect to a server in england across the sea which means that the game is more laggy than just playing relatively locally on xbox live. When you have 256 players connecting to a dedicated server it will become weak, and certainly some players will suffer with heavy heavy lag.

I have an xbox and a ps3 and the only reason i play xbox online is because ALL my friends have them lol but yea MAG looks like shit and the playstation home is a JOKE...get outside and get a life..make REAL friends

It says I can't view the E3 Microsoft review due to a copyright restriction in the US/UK. You know what this is about? I can view the ones for the Wii and PS3, but being a Microsoft fanboy in the states I'm kind of disappointed that I'm unable to see your opinions of their presentation.

Because if you live there then im pretty sure your quite close to some game servers. Meanwhile people in europe and places that arent as lucky and have to connect to servers very far away. For that reason european gamers can suffer from more lag than a lucky guy like you would on psn. do you at least get where im coming from man? =]

i dont agree with what you are saying..i play resistance 2 60 ppl online, killzone 2, 32 ppl online, even uncharted 2 beta works better than gears, and its 10ppl online just like gears..non of the games i named lag..the only game that lags a bit is socom, and when i say lag, i dont mean glitch and moving really slow..i mean it just takes 1 or 2 more minutes before entering and leaving a match..dedicated servers work alot better than peer to peer..
