  • Yeah, you can't release pet turtles into the wild. They're fed for their whole lives so they don't know how to find food and they DIE.

  • Come on you can tell the guy is sad just stop being ass holes.

  • @xiongjeremy oh:,c

  • Cmon ur free little nigga

  • Youre right... We have a pet red eared slider and i bought him / her when je was only the size of a quarter...this was 2 yrs ago and now he's in a 50 gal tank ... Very well cared for- i've taken hombto the vet. Couple times for check ups... Now he is about the size of a small frisbee ( 10 inches long possibly 12) he is sooooo adorable !7

  • @miaVee Pet stores won't take it , because they cannot verify where it came from. They mostly deal in the smaller cute ones that children fall in love with and cry till mom and dad buy it, where it usually live in discomfort due to wrong temperature conditions, wrong diet, handled too much, and an enviroment that is to small, till thay die due to neglect. Wich is sad because a monkey can care for a turtle. He's MUCH better off in the wild.

  • The turtle will be fine in the wild, they don't really get spoiled or have emotional attachments to people like dogs or cats. Plus the "River Cooter' and "Slider" turtle populations are so muddied up due to cross breeding, this ones little mutt bloodline will make no difference at all.

  • everyone loves turtles
