Belly Dance Bubs is a special dedication to my unborn son when I was 33 weeks pregnant. The projection at the beginning is his 3D ultrasound.

Performed as part of Bellydance Odyssey Theatre Show in March 2009 at Parramatta Riverside Theatre, Sydney Australia.

Music: "Beyond Skin" by Nitin Sawhney
"Lullaby" by Glenn Cardier

Choreography: Jrisi Jusakos with the assistance from Kiri Morcombe.

This performance is part of "Mums The Word" documentary featured in Volume II "Bellydance Bub - A Bellydance Journey Through Pregnancy DVD" available from

  • Wonderful... Belo... Lindo... Bellydance!

  • The simple fact you can do that with such a load is good :) great video and congrates!

  • you look great

  • yay

  • umm... its nice but it appears to be more of a lyrical piece then a belly dance. there were very few elements of bellydance if any in this dance. where are the camels, chest circles, drops, locks etc. ? it's beautiful but its not bellydance, not entirely...

  • That's pretty awesome especially since most people can't do that even when they're NOT pregnant!

  • That was pretty special! Wonderful! x
