If you own a rifle that is semi-automatic...for gods sake dont call it an assault rifle!

It must be capable of automatic fire to be an assault weapon. If you own a firearm you should know the difference and not perpetuate the gun control lie that semi-automatic = assault.

The term "assault" has nothing to do with it. It's a semi-auto sporting rifle. It's an adjective that liberals have attached to serve their own deceptive purposes. They can re-write definitions all they want. Doesn't change the fact. When they put out propaganda for the '94 bill they showed full automatics. They also picked the weapons based on appearance alone. Ask one of them what a high power sniper rifle is and they'll point to a Remington BDL deer rifle.

@mxwelch my friend thats cause in Canada they dont want us to have guns so that its easier to control us.......In USA the government really cant do whatever they want because the citizens have easy access to weapons with which they can rebel if need be. when you give power to the government that lets them decide witch guns are good and which guns are bad you take away the teeth of the people. Statistics show overwhelmingly that registered guns are not involved in violent crime, period

@ugotpimp glad someone else understands that. I went to a gun shop to pick up a polish tantal AK-74 rifle and they say that is an "assualt rifle" and the sks is. That is such BS...they are only semi where I went to go buy them.
