Have downloaded the Microsoft Update KB942615 for Internet Explorer 7 and
discovered that when it is loaded it does not allow any viewing of the
internet pages or surfing of the net. In order to work the Explorer, your
going to have to un-install the update and do not download. Will keep a
lookout and keep tabs on the Security Updates to see if there are any changes
or if it is fixed.
automatic updates OFF at the moment
online games now playable
surfing is back to normal

I've got a problem. When i try open certain files or try to extract files to desktop. It says "due to your current internet security settings, Unable to open one or more files" . Doing this will this fix?

how do u fix ur internet when u double click it and a box shows up and it lists most of your programs and then u click internet and it says run and it dont pop up into the internet it just makes u download it . but when i open computer shortcut and types in the name of the website it goes to the internet and it works. and when i try to download java it makes me redownload it over and over and wont let me use it . please help me :(

OK i tried it, found and deleted the update, rebooted and dialed-up; NOT WORKING
i'm on win xp home edition vers. 2002 sp2 with ie7 browser and I DON'T KNOW
maybe i'll have to reset the dll,z@ the microsoft site

Grrrrr. Didn't work for IE...switched to FireFox and hope that works for me.
