A popular Summer Resort in the early 1900's apears to be cursed. Many people have died on the property starting with the first settlers during the Revolutionary war era.

  • Is there more than 2 rides remaining?

  • I believe there are anywhere from 3 to 5

  • Ive been there...When I was young I went to mud bog races there and I really dont see why it would be haunted....To me if a swing hit a truck it would kill a few people because its swinging a bunch of chairs in the same direction..

  • @dirtracer81 not if all the swings werent full

  • I just saw this place on the Most Terrifying Places in America and Top 13 Most Terrifying Places on the Travel Channel. I don't know why, but I had a dream about this and now I can't stop thinking about. In fact, I've decided to make a pilgrimage to go there before I die.

  • my grandparents bought mitchell clay's old house right there on rt 2 across from lake shawnee. My room was upstairs and faced the lake. I used to hear carnival music & the rides at night. I would tell my Poppa the park was open and ask him to take me. Other nights I would hear indian chants, fire crackling & see a fire reflection dancing on my wall. Summer was the most active time for ghost stuff. Dawn & dusk were absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall w/fog. Nighttime was super scary

  • @honeykisses1987 yes we still have the picture we keep it locked up to show our family membrers

  • @talllaken Do you guys still have that picture?

  • my moms brother wayne drowned there a the lake and we took a picture of his grave and he was sitting on it with his drunks still on

  • @MATTHEW3438 it's the log cabin...if your coming from Kegley down rt 2 there is a split in rt 2 one road goes to the left to Matoka and the other part of the fork heads to Spanishburg....if you go straight towards Spanishburg the house is on your left in the fork of the road. There is only one house there...the 230 year old log cabin that belonged to Mitchel Clay. here is a picture of the house in an old post card

  • @MATTHEW3438 I think someone's doing that already.

  • @honeyD132 Wow, really? That's amazing :O

That's probably a terrifying experience to move there at first. x.x

  • This is really cool. The death of the little girl thing seems really creepy. I've heard about this place when I was half-listening to the T.V. when the Scariest Places on Earth or something was on. I thought it was one of those fake, scare amusement parks. But this is realllly creepy. o.o

  • @ivancroft21 but if its a little girl? at the speed those swings go it could very well kill her.

  • Beautifully put together. My husband and I have a paranormal group that has done numerous investigations there. We never come home disappointed, it is truly a place to experience. Anyone wanting to look at some of our pics can hit us up on facebook under Ghosthuntersofthetwova's jeff Price....had to go without spaces cause of limited characters allowed by Facebook.
