My friend introduced me to this band, I love LAM's music and I like Sean Brennan for being smart, talented and an activist (not to forget beautiful & sexy). But why do I get the impression that anything about LAM always has to end up in some Bible-extended-version-type-of-length discussion (was this sentence long + squiggled enough)? In most cases you talk to a wall = casting pearls before swine. "Less words / more hits in the head with a high heel" is often the only lesson that can be taught.
@schweizergoth Maybe you should read- you'd learn something. The original poster's comments, who I was replying to, have been deleted, but from reading my responses you get the idea of the nonsensical things he was saying.
@Americanbadashh Again, you're lying and your argument is beyond flawed and illogical. As a working musician who's been touring and selling music for 20 years I KNOW what I'm talking about. You're just guessing. Musicians make the bulk of their money from music sales. There are also musicians who do not tour. Touring is a 2nd job as a musician. Touring pays below poverty wages for 98% of bands. This is not about "natural selection'. It's about facts. You have none.
@Americanbadashh No, Einstein, you're ass backwards as usual- I'm talking about fair compensation to artists. When you take away the only means an artist has to pay for recording, pay rent, pay for food, etc, then they can no longer be artists. THINK and learn the facts BEFORE you form an opinion!
@Americanbadashh Not all bands tour. Not all musicians tour. Learn the facts before you speak. The priority is creating music, not touring. Also, when you say a band can only earn money from touring (which only pays LESS TAHN POVERTY WAGES for virtually ALL bands) then you're saying they should not be compensated for creation of music. That's like me telling you that you only get paid for the first 5 minutes of your 40 hour work week.
