he bet on himself... its not like he bet against himself and threw the game!!!! Hes a great guy and a great player. Better then cal, better then jeater, unquestionabily better then 90% of the guys in the hall already. Judge him by his work on the field, which speaks for itself, rather then rather then his (harmless) off field mistakes.

Pete has a real fuckin point. The same as mine. Druggies, spouse beaters,drunks even dog fighters like Vick who I'm a fan of btw are allowed SECOND chances but no gamblers never ever ever lol how ridiculous is that.is it a wrong sure in the eyes of many not mine but hey everyone's entitled to there opinion. the dedication/effort. never cheated which is more than a lot of other great players can say he diddnt commit some grotesque kinda crime? But is forever banned from baseball & the HOF.... SMH
