@hustleboy62 yes iv heard of Dan Carter he is a quality player,but in my opinion his kicking isn't as consistent his defense isn't as good.

I think Dan carter has more pace but that is about it.

There is one other thing Dan carter doesn't have a world cup to his name!

@SuperJay2cool Believe me I'm not naive enough to say that the New Zealanders and Dan Carter aren't fantastic players. If you look I said that the New Zealand team in 2007 were possibly the greatest rugby side ever. My point was that Wilkinson stepped up and won games when it mattered, on the biggest stage, the World Cup. This is where the NZ team usually choke. Isn't coming good when it really matters what greatness is?

Your a fucking retard. Wilkinsons career is over now. It was injured for 7 Years unable to play after winning the 2003 WRC. He's only started playing again this year for England & he doesn't play more than a half without being subbed.

But anyway back in the day carter had nothing. Nothing on wilkinson.

@SuperJay2cool If you can be in a team widely regarded as the 'best ever' like in 2007 and go out in the semi's to France, then you aren't the best. Wilkinson dragged the 2007 team to the final. Of course the rwc reflects players statuses, because that's when it really matters, that's when you truly have to be at your best because it's the biggest stage in Rugby. NZ=chokers!!

@MDCVFIF watch Dan Carter vs Wilkinson in the lions series or carter highlights and wilkinson highlights then you will realize that carter is a better attacking player and all rounder. Ive seen wilkinson injured for a long time too but unlike carter he can comeback from that injury and still play quality top class rugby!!!

@SuperJay2cool I'm an Englishman in NZ right now. Dan Carter is just a name, his kicking can be excellent, but it's rarely as consistent as Jonny's is/was. Consistency gets results, complacency doesn't even make the final.
