Telling Our Parents!

We knew we just couldn't wait to tell our parents any longer. It worked out perfectly that we could go out to lunch with both of our parents together this afternoon, which is very rare to begin with and it was only possible because my uncle's bbq got pushed back to another weekend...so it was meant to be today! We got a pack of onsies and put a jayhawk decal on them. There were two because we wanted each set of parents to have something to open. I wish I had backed up so I got our dad's reactions on camera! But my mom and Julie's reactions were priceless! FYI Julie is Derek's step-mom since he was a little boy so we call her mom sometimes too, in case anyone was confused. Linda is Derek's mom and we told her first.
If you're wondering we're I get my crazy facial expressions from...well you won't wonder anymore! And if you wonder where Derek gets his smart-ass-ness (???) that shoudl also be cleared up :D Such a great day!!!

@blueyed25 not really awkward at all ;) they were confused. they didn't know if we meant we were having twins, or if we were even pregnant at all. They definitely weren't expecting it though. In all my videos you can tell, they are nothing but happy about being grandparents.

@blueyed25 a baby boy, who is now almost 20 months old :) he is extremely loved and spoiled by our families.

Oh & my Dad said "Ohhh man" over & over & over when we announced Kacen's pregnancy.... I think "what ever works" was a lot better, ha.

thanks :) I hadn't even missed my period yet so this was super early. If we had waited til 12 weeks we'd just now be telling them!
