Personally I feel that whatever seems enough for you probably is, and yet I can see the value in this in a non-dualistic way. It's not saying that mind and body are separate (or thoughts/ felt sense and spirituality) but that they are two inter-related aspects. Just sitting could potentially shift a person's energy too high; Big Mind, while a relatively new name/ concept also encourages full experiencing and recognition of the many parts of being human- not escape but integration.

Zen is not taught, everyone has Zen. Everyone is a master of Zen too. It's not in a book and it's not online. It just is. That is all.

!!!WARNING!!! Genpo's Big Mind is not to be confused with the Clear Light Mind or the same, the Luminous Mind which in Sanskrit is prabhâsvara-citta.
