@arvizuzu i complain about them because moronic fucks like yourslef drive past my house between 1 and 3 am every couple nights reving their engines. it wakes me up every time and if i was as much of an inconsiderate asshole as they are, i'd shoot them. it has nothing to do with balls, it has to do with human decency. you cowards all think you're so tough with your suckerpunches and your intimidation tactics. you wouldnt last two seconds against people with real moral courage and decency.

the "loud pipes save lives" argument only shows that that those who use it understand actual risks to motorcyclists very poorly. Many moto-journalists have discussed and refuted this pathetic attempt to justify pissing off everyone within earshot of the a**hole on the bike with loud pipes. "South Park" did an excellent job of satirizing these sad, overgrown adolescents who so desperately need attention.

@colorconnection You are partly right.The biggest reason after wondering about this for years is TOTALLY obvious.It is a DESPERATE CRY FOR ATTENTION.We all want attention right? But when you need OPEN exhaust,you may need alot more attention than the average adult.Sometimes the truth about oneself can be eye opening.I had plenty of bikes with aftermarket pipes-louder than stock, but OPEN?

some people just have no idea what the fuck theyre talking about.. 90% of the people agreeing that loud pipes should be against the law are the people who try to cut motorcyclists off because theyre not paying attention

Drive like a car and have good lights. Most cars don't hear anyway. A lady backed into me from an intersection 30 ft away while I was in a Jeep liberty with my stock and air horn and she still didn't notice. Excess loud is just stupid. Learn from the jap bikes and make the engine run right...

@JackinNYC. No disrespect bro but um loud pipes help us from being broadsided by cages. I seen a honda gold wing get pummeled by a vw bug jus because the person did not see them. I am heard from down the street and haven't heard any complaints from people around me. So before you start judgin us loud individuals do your homework first. - Bandit Aka Loud and Proud

@775Ariel I know some people say that, but as a rider, I just put more faith in my own riding skills and remain aware of what is happening around me. The loud pipes save lives is a myth... like unicorns.

@colorconnection the only reason why i would have loud pipes (wich i am looking at fitting soon) is because the average car driver doesn't seem to know what the reflective things sticking out of the their cars is for.

so if a car is not going to look for me, im going to do my best to make sure he knows im there.
