  • We dont claim any definitive detection and neither did the original paper, I thought we were quite clear that there is only a possibility of finding a signature fo the mutlvierse. But if we werent clear Ill just clarify our position. We do not claim the multiverse exists only that it more plausible and has a better chance of scientific valdation than god.

  • Thanks

  • Look at what we get by actually investigating things from a scientific stand point. Increase in knowledge with real world application. What do we get with the god proposal? Just a bunch of wars and excuses to hate. No contest really.

  • What's the probability that this gorgeous girl will PM me an email address or phone number so I can ask her out?

  • @skydivephil Skip to 10:00 Steven weinberg talks about one of the constants that must be accurate within 56 decimal places. He then goes on to say that it has them disturbed. Later he explains that there must be 10^120 universes to be anthropically comfortable with it. /watch?annotation_id=annotation_167022&v=QwhLP6iOfz4&feature=iv&src_vid=UfEq_u8ZuQE Quit being intellectually dishonest.

  • @skydivephil He acknowledged in a video that the fundamental constants are fine tuned but hee doesn't find the god explanation satisfying. And it's funny that you bring up the fact that science is not done by the opinion of authority figures because out of all the physicists(the majority of which say that the constants are fine tuned) you bring up a few who don't believe that they are fine tuned. I could do the same thing and bring up 20 physicists who say they are fine tuned.

  • @skydivephil You then go on to say that unlikely events happen all the time (in response to your theist imply that unlikely events can't happen without a miracle.

However, I believe the unlikely events referred to by theists aren't 1 in 52 like your deck of cards analogy but other unlikely events such as my hand disappearing when I touch my desk which the odds of that occuring is 0.000...01. Therefore, if my hand did disappear, it is improbable and would be a miracle.

  • @skydivephil At 3:55 you're discussing the probability problem and conlcude that we can't specify the probability because we don't know the available range of variations.

The problem with this statement is that it implies that in order for a range of variations to be considered, some sort of order must exist. However, disorder precedes order and thus the range of variations would be infinite.

  • @EhsaunOwns Perhaps religion is based upon what authority figures say, but science is not done by the opinion of authority figures, even if he agreed with you, which he clearly does not.

  • @EhsaunOwns I suggest you read Steven Weinbergs article "A Desginer Universe" and come back , heres a quote from it "Some physicists have argued that certain constants of nature have values that seem to have been mysteriously fine-tuned to just the values that allow for the possibility of life, in a way that could only be explained by the intervention of a designer with some special concern for life. I am not impressed with these supposed instances of fine-tuning."

  • @Roper122 May I introduce you to noble prize winner atheist physicist Steven Weinberg? Hes an atheist and even he admits that the constants are fine tuned. This is just some bullshit atheist propaganda video. Hell even Richard Dawkins finally admited after speaking to physicists that the constants are fine tuned. Shes being intellectually dishonest.

  • @EhsaunOwns " shes being intellectually dis honest in saying that the physical constants aren't fine tuned "

    - No, not at all... no one has shown that the constants are fine tuned, that's kinda the point of the video. And even if the fine tuning were correct, it doesn't point to a multiverse, the multiverse hypothesis grew out of a completely different theory.

The appearance of fine tuning of the constants doesn't mean what you think it does.

  • @RedGreenInBlue *YAWNS* WTF??? Ok cumwhore..what's your excuse this time?
