In an earlier video Joe Bortz dropped off an air cleaner from a 1956 Cadillac concept car for refinishing. Mark Silich of Finishing Touch gave him a phone call that it is done. Mark documented the refinishing process.

Is it an art? Is it a science? It seems alot of both! I would really like a clue as to what it cost for that work. Im sure Mark is one of the best in the world at this, and it shows. Joe could not have chosen a better place.

That is crazy.. $ I wouldn't want to know the price either. Beautiful part but very expensive and a lot of work. Scratch it or dent it and you will be sick.. That is why I don't get my Nash parts chromed. They will cost more than the car is worth.

@zzzdogutube It is easy to get upside with cars just like in houses. This air cleaner will go into a very interesting Cadillac. I was scared to death to get my video camera too close to this virgin bit of chrome plating.
