  • But everything is not about horsepower.

I mean, this Lotus evora is fantastic, it's able to go from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds, only 0.1 second slower than a 1655kg 420 horsepower BMW m3.

This Evora is an efficient sporty car.

small engine and light = high performances.

This lotus won't drink liters and liters of gasolin in a second as the lamborghini.

    That is what I like!

  • I think the Audi and the Lotus are closer competitors in the handling category than any other car in the vid, but I would've gone with the Audi because for 50 grand more you can get a sexier car with 4 more cylinders, about twice the bhp, and it comes with luxuries that lotus has optional. But that's just me.

  • car to drive: nissan gtr

car to take from these: lamborghini, sell it and buy 5 gtrs that are faster

  • @Rangeroversport12 Because it isn't a drivers car. It's probably there just to satisfy the 13 year old americans on youtube.

  • @jondeoleo why wouldnt it be?

  • why is the Gt-r there?

  • @NobleM15fan Well the ZR1 is a 638hp RWD sports car, it takes talent to drive it around a track. However the 2010 - 2011 ZR1's have quite a bit of driving aids like the GTR for your average driver.

  • @dreampilot2 They are better than they used to be, that's certainly true. But I think mentioning the ZR1 in a "Best Driver's Car" competition is not going to go down well - against its European rivals, it falls short in a lot of ways.

My friend didn't take it back because it broke down, or was uncomfortable. He took it back because he took it on a track day, crashed, and decided he didn't have the talent to drive it full on.

  • @NobleM15fan I know a few people who own Corvette's, don't know anyone that owns a ZR1. One of my friends has an old C5 Vette with over 200k miles on it and it still runs amazingly. The comfort is "okay" it works nothing too special, but amazing car.

  • @dreampilot2 Where it should be - far, far away. I know a guy in Utah who bought one - he took it back after 4 months and bought a Viper ACR. This is a video for "best driver's car". That doesn't mean fastest lap time.

  • @aiunai1 Proton do not play any role in design, development or testing of Lotus' cars. Same story with Jaguar and Tata. The cars are still designed and built in Britain, ergo they are still British. End of argument.
