I have recently received some questions about how all my medical problems started, and while I have attempted to tell my story before, it always dragged out too long. I am making another attempt to keep this more concise (but obviously I did have to make a Part II). In this video, I discuss how I got sick and what happened through contracting EBV, having the virus stay chronically active and the damage it has done to my body over time.

  • @TheDarksEmpyrean: Hi Al, just found your Channel earlier! :) Thank you for your kind words, they mean a lot. I am sorry to hear about your wife. Does she have a good pain mgmt doc? If her pain is constant she may do better with a long-acting baseline medication. Much love to you both! <3

  • Naaw sweetie. I am sorry you struggle w/ this too. I was hoping my pacemaker would have improved this situation but the rate response function (increases HR) is hard to engage when lying down. :/ Anyway, you are not alone sweetie! *hugs*

  • @RecoveringPotsy: I so agree love! <3<3<3

  • @RecoveringPotsy: Seriously?! O__O Wow! Okay I am so weirding out (but in the best way possible!) that I am meeting people who have such similar initial presentations! I have never been more grateful for everyone who has spoken out before me. While I hate that others have suffered similarly, it is also so affirming & encouraging because we can share knowledge/resources & be stronger together! Tons of love to you, angel! <3

  • @Innerbeauty1000: Exactly! We are the ones enduring chronic illnesses & we can't walk away from it like others can. Thankfully, the Internet brings us together. Thank you so much for your support! I'm here for you, too.<3<3<3

  • @JaedaBarbie: I am so sorry to hear about your family not being supportive. Thankfully, we have loving Soul Family, though! I think the Divine brings us all together to help support each other. Hold on to your friends, hubby, child(ren? I can't remember if you have more than one! *shy* ) & your spiritual faith. It isn't easy but thankfully we are not suffering alone in silence. Bless the Net! ^_^

  • it is horrible. you have been through so much. My name is Al and its nice to meet you. I am sorry to hear this. My wife can relate when it comes to doctors not believing something is wrong and family..etc.. but we know something is wrong. they found all her cells in her intestines are inflammed. 7 years of pain daily. nothing helps, only dialauded. they know somethings wrong but can't figure it out. its horrible. I can't imagine what it is like for you. be strong ;)

  • sexual intamacy is sooo hard for me, too. i get worn out too easily that my husband usually has to do all the work. it is sooo frustrating for the both of us. I wish i could act sexier like i used to. being ill can drastically affect your romantic relationships. It definitely has put a strain on mine.

  • @SheWhoFeels I think it's so great that more people are speaking out! The more info people share, the better off we will all be<3

  • Wow, the beginning of your chronically ill journey sounds very similar to mine! After Mono, I caught every cold in sight and the fatigue was awful!! I had bad sugar issues and digestive issues too. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us!!
