  • who is rippin there vocal chords? carol?

  • @MichaelHansenFUN Yes that's Carole. Her daughters were among the angelic backup singers.

  • @julietaron with all the voice actors we need to check IMDB!!! also i went to a 16mm film festival and the showed (missing beginning and end) of CHICKEN SOUP WITH RICE from here, and the audience loved it. I videotaped it off the screen. Need to see how it camne out!!!

  • @MichaelHansenFUN Point well taken. Thanks.

  • You're very welcome. Imagine how happy I was to find the old VHS in the library. It must be shared, it should be released on DVD.

Viva Carole King, Sandy Denny, Joni Mitchell, Linda Thompson!

  • I wonder what happened after recording the chicken soup number my guess is afterwards everybody was hungry due to the song's length

  • OMG, I remember watching this in elementary school! Memories!

  • @julietaron if i remember correct I only saw the PIERRE segment as a youngster. Also I have trhe soundtrack on store bought tape from a comic book strore that used to sell used tapes but dont anymore. WHen I was in the 2nd grade, the teacher had the CHICKEN SOUP WITH RICE 45 rpm on ODE with the big hole, and i remember the song being different in one part....

  • I love stuff like this but I read that Carol King's "Tapestry" was displaced by PINK FLOYD DARK SIDE OF THE MOON (which ended up in the Guniess book of world records) To be honest with you (I did soemthing stupid) I never heard Carol King's album. I may have it and never played it. so if I find a copy then I will play it. because nobody talks about that album, they talk about FRAMPTONS COMES ALIVE but not TAPESTRY! so this inspired me. LIKE THE VOICE!!!

  • @julietaron dont take this the wrong way but you just listing names of ones you admire? for who is involved in the production, look on IMDB!

  • i think i have the store bought tape of the soundtrack
