Lol, i was born in 1996. I didn't start watching TV until I was about 4, and my parents hated Cartoon Network for years. That's why I feel bad about not watching this series in its entirety, it's kind of the childhood that never was. XP The latter isn't true, I saw the first two episodes dubbed and have read extensively about the series. And last night I was watching some classic clips right here on Youtube.

Cheesed me off? That is simply beautitful, can I borrow that phrase? I'd like to go a single day saying "It really grinds my gears," without getting smirks and comments from people who think Family Guy invented euphemisms and substitute phrases showing annoyance or being pissed off that our parents probably used when they were younger and Family Guy or Seth MacFarlane didn't even exist lol. But seriously, can I? :D

Um, haters who don't realize that Sailor Moon is the Mother of All Contemporary Anime in Our Lifetimes, and DragonBallZ was undeniably the father? Oh, and Evangelion and Yu Yu Hakusho were their first children or siblings, so they'd be the Uncles of All Contempory Anime in Our Lifetimes. ;D

Agreed. it's iconic in all of those respects. I need to watch this instead of just read about its awesomeness and the series we all know in love today were inspired from, of which there are an infinite number to count. It's sad that the fandom is slowly "dying out," or at least the original generation has moved onto other fandoms instead. They also find this anime too cliche, apparently. Dude, this anime invented anime cliche archetypes and story elements, seriously. :P

More of a reason to love Poland, hell they even dubbed Kannazuki no Miko, and they are ardent Catholics for god's sake. I love Poland, the nation and the Hetalia character. Like if you know what I'm talking about. ^^

It's also considered a rejuvenation of the magical girl genre, not to mention romantic dramedy and quasi-apocalyptic psycho thiller anime. And if you are into that like I am, arguably the first anime to receive a yuri fandom. Although like I said, some pairings are completely up to your own opinion and preferences, but obviously Uranus and Neptune, Zoisite and Kunzite are canon. This from an anime fanboy who's yet to actually watch the series... XP

It was actually by DiC and a company called Ocean Productions in Canada, the dub that is. DiC was a subsidary of The Walt Disney Company *grunt* (Figures..) and they used to own the rights of a few shows on what was the original Disney Channel or something, like the animated adaption of Sabrina, The Teenage Witch. So it wasn't actually 4Kids, but it was still pretty bad... Must watch sub....

I need to watch this anime already. I've read about it and heard about it, and I just want to, period. This opening is very nice, and no matter how bad the dub is (I saw the first two episodes dubbed, it made my eyes and ears bleed from how morbidly edited it was D:), it's kind of catchy and the guitar solo is awesome, singing sucks though Xp). I wonder if there can actually be a redub of this series, preferrably by Funimation, bc they are awesome at dubs IMHO. I'll watch the original anime sub.
