  • nice, what camera do you use??

  • @The66200 most of it was taken using my new toy, a Panasonic sd700. A great little cam that can fit in my pocket, however the controlling the zoom pull back leaves something to be desired.

  • excellent video

  • @HSTHoward Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.

  • brilliant quality mate!

  • Nearly 20 minutes of pure enjoyment, nice mix of traction too !

  • @MrFireboxchaser You have mail.

  • @cyclopsfilm Not a criticism Bill, I really enjoyed the shots

. I tend to start filming well before the train gets to me so I want to try putting short sharp titles in over the film when editing so the action is still visible , like how you put March 2011 at the beginning, so that when titles disappears the train is in the best starting position if you see what i mean,if I can figure how to do it in Vegas!! Might have a go today!!!

  • @AndreiTupolev That 66 certainly has been covered and it does sound like that track machine was being thrashed within an inch of it's life.

  • @MrFireboxchaser Hi Nick, hmmm so what are you saying? you want me to caption the next one :)

I've a feeling April may be a bit shorter - 3 days in and nothing of note has been past, except for a double headed steam tour!

  • @kopiteman Quite possible as that was filmed near Ashchurch

  • @EWS60500 Thank you. It does seem that those drivers of the 'heritage' loco's do tend to react for the camera.
