Introducing Picasa 3

I don't know much about Picoso, just that I was in hot water with the wife. Suddenly I had found all the lost Photo's well untill I learn more thanks Google:)

I thought Googles did. I might be mistaken thou. I go ask.

I dearly loved Picasa2.7 for the specific reason of THE NO FRILLS, INSTANTANEOUS, MULTLAYER COLLAGES it could make. BUT the MULTILAYER COLLAGE FUNCTIONS in the newer version, Picasa3, is almost useless!!

That was also a problem for me, and also once I closed picasa all my pictures were gone the next time I opened it. So now eveytime I open picasa it scans every single pic I have and then they are gone again. I'm confused

if you have the Vista program on your computer, download the windows photo editing. free if you have Vista, but apparently not availavable to XP progs.
i like it. it does not do everything that photoshop does, but i find it very adequate.
tip--
when you want to edit a pic, make a copy (R click) & paste on the same page. the copy will be at the bottom of pics page. then drag the copy up to where the original is. work on the copy & save the original in case you mess up the edit.

all i want is that the picasa group my pics by person. how does that work? someone said it will automatically do this so you dont have to organize one by one.
it will jsut do this. how does that work? im so confused.
