Acoustic bass guitars can have more sustain and life than that, and the Tacomas I've been around have. Perhaps it's the strings. . . Like your harmonics and playing though.

Thanks! It's just this particular video that doesn't sound the best though (recorded with a webcam mic). Check out the Part I & II videos to hear a more accurate tone (recorded with a condenser mic).
