She is still an amazing singer today and a wonderful person.

In the early years she was chunky and rather plain. Then an amazing transformation occurred and she was blonde, beautiful, elegant and pure class. I think that part of her persona was there all the time; she just needed the big world to erase the Oklahoma girl she began as. As a person, she has never changed. She has always been down to earth, practical and a hard worker. A natural talent born to be a great star.

Lovely, poised and her humility is genuine.
I'm so happy she is still among us and may Miss Patti Page (still the "Singing Rage") always be appreicated for her immeasurable contributions to pop music.

GSN rebroadcast this on 23 NOvember 2008. The episode featured the female mayor of San Juan Puerto Rico, and a Swedish girdle designer. Jim Backus was bright and funny. A shame that the producers did not use him more often.
