I hate that thick stuff you where in at the end!!! i shot a nice 8pointer last November and it ran off in to the thick . it took me forever to find him but i did but like your freind said at the end "the bad news is i had to drag hi" but by myself!! what it that thick stuff called?

@nevius28 The "thick stuff" is cattails. We were fortunate and the deer left a decent trail through them. It's just tough when you don't know if the deer is down for good or if it is going to jump and run a few feet in front of you. We got lucky and this one was down for good. Thanks for watching!

@twohorse2 We didn't measure it out, and it's tough to estimate while walking in cattails, but I would have to guess 500 yards. Thanks for watching!

How many yards did he shoot from? Dam that arrow when through that deer.

The shot was about 40 yards. The arrow went completly through the deer and was found laying on the grass opposite where the deer had been standing.
