PYONGYANG, DPRK : It is known as one of the world's most secretive and controversial societies but for a small group of Teesdiers, North Korea is like a home from home. Stepping behind the iron curtain for a unique four day Friendship Football Tour, the seventeen players and staff of Middlesbrough Ladies Football Club - the first British football team to be invited to play in the country - have returned to tell their story. Shown here in these intimate photos taken by the players and staff the historical tour provided an extraordinary insight into this mysterious country whose culture has remained isolated from the rest of the world.
