Yeah,thanks for the reply, and as I read somewhere, FSX is more CPU dependant than GPU... Anyways do you recommend me to switch my videocard? Cuz I've heard FSX works better in nVidia than in ATi, even when the ATi 4870 has a "better" performance... I don't care having the latest hardware or the best videocard, but running my FSX perfect cuz that's why I "changed" my PC, specially for FSX...

don't waste your time with gpu... It's not important on fsx... I'v got a nvidia 8800gt but i don't think it's better than 4870..
Settings and cpu are important....

to get the best performance on fsx what should i upgrade ive got an intel e6600@2.40ghz and a nvidia 9600gt what would be the best to upgrade for better fsx performance.

i advise to overclock as much as possible, but being carrefully to avoid damage and using a good freezing sistem like more fan, and much ram ( i'v got 8gb)

Hey poppa I don't stop getting amazing with those graphics!!! Can you please gimme a hand? I got a Intel C2Q 6600 @ 2,4 GHz, 4GB RAM Bus 800, MSI (ATI) Radeon 4870 512MB DDR5 and MoBo Intel DG31PR (Will change it)... I thought this would easily run FSX, but it runs perfect all my games except FSX :( get horrible frames... Can you please tell me if I should change something to get a "decent" performance? Cuz I mainly changed my PC thinking in FSX and now I'm really dissapointed...btw GREAT GRAPHX

u must overclock it to 3.4 like mine, because fsx run very good with fast cpu
