You can take this how you want it, that's the brilliance in it. He could be talking about the Gods. He could be talking about how Black people are misunderstood, feared, underrated, and don't get credit for a lot of things that our ancestors did (i.e. Cats really built the Sphinx and founded places like Catalina and Katmandu). Whatever you draw from it, it's dope as fuck and I could loop the first verse forever and not get tired of it. What an underrated artist Last Emp was..
