Interesting. Never really see Icelandic use contractions like that. I know it's spoken like that (t.d. "þú'st"), but is it common to write it like that as well?

@jevicci Not at all. I just found it easier or cooler or whatever to write it like that. This video is at least three years old, my language skills (both English and Icelandic) have improved since then. But no, you never use the commas unless you're writing poetry (but you usually write it like "skyldi' hún" which you read as "skyldún").

It probably has more power in icelandic than in english.
Like "Fanin í steiki" in faroese means "The devil fries" or
"Brenni og koli í svartasta helviti" = "burn and get scorched (coaled up) in the blackest of hell" that prob doesn´t make any sense to a english person.
But thats a thing you say when you´re angry.
Keep the videos comming, it´s nice to see Icelanders making videos :D.
