Do you have problems with any screws or bolts coming loose? Every time we go out the barrel comes loose....sometimes other screws.....Never fails. Purchased a few extra mags and one is real crap. I know people say you have to break them in but one mag will not accept more than 5 rounds without slamming the bullet into the inside of the mag. This particular mag angles the bullets down for some reason. It actually set a round off while chambering because the bullet couldn't leave the mag

have you seen or come across anyone who has customized the bolt handle or that uncomfortable handle thing on the bolt? i think thats a bolt handle anyway.

Do you have any recommendations for a scope. I just bought this rifle and took it to the range. The stock sites suck. I can get a very good grouping but nowhere near the bulseye. Could get the group closely outside the circle firing at the bullseye. Could hit the bullseye dead on shooing outside the target at 4 o'clock. I have to get a scope but don't know much about them and don't see how I can adjust the sights anymore.

do you know how to disassemble a trigger mechanism for the savage 64 and assemble it and if you do will you make a video?
ok wtf. I saw you just take apart the bolt springs! i thought those were machined into the bolt? Mine came apart while cleaning. i put it all back together now it wont feed a single round. Plz let me now if im crazy or the gun is defective.

@1hndman
Make sure to put back BOTH springs into place and push the barrel all the way in to place to compress the spings, and dont forget the little side pin that hooks on the barrel and insert in the bolt for proper alignement
Hope it helps

Thanks very much for the video teaching us how to do this, bro! But oh my God, what a hassle...I'm fanatical about taking care of my 'toys' and cleaning them promptly each and every time I shoot them, but wow, it's almost less trouble to tear down a Chevy small block! Seriously, thanks very much. I'm gonna sub, "friend" and PM you. You gotta friend in Texas for sure!
