This was a very spiritual mass celebration and a loving moment at the "Destiny Worship Center" (First Christian Baptist Church), 18th september 2011... where I was invited to testify about the Love of God with the brothers and sisters from Dallas!...

We came in Dallas with the organisators of "Sankofa Soul Contest" because I had the blessing to win the first price of this national Soul Contest (2010-2011), in France...

I will never forget the Grace that I felt flowing between all of us this morning, only one day left before coming back to France!........

Yoann has been singing Gospel since the age of 15 when he joined the Gospelize it! Mass Choir, composed of 70 singers and directed by Emmanuel Djob, a well-respected Gospel artist originally from Cameroon. Yoann became a soloist himself within a year, gaining a deeper understanding of the essence of African-American music, based on its intrinsic value of Love with the ability to dissolve all artificial barriers between human beings.
He is currently one of five soloists of the most famous European Gospel choir, the 100-strong Gospel pour 100 Voix, led by Jean Carpenter and Linda Lee Hopkins. In June 2011, Yoann won first place of the biggest France's Soul-music competition, the Sankofa Soul Contest. It lead him to perform with Erykah Badu's band, in Dallas (USA). View one his performances of "I believe I can fly" at the begening of the Soul contest here:

In addition to being lead singer for various influent French Soul, Rhythm' An' Blues, and Gospel bands during the last seven years (Soul Travellers, Otis Redding Tribute (BRBB), Gospel Shakers, Gospel Jam), Yoann has also been touring USA and Canada during three months, giving then around 50 solo concerts with his loop station. Yoann has also had the honor of performing as backing singer for such artists as Stevie Wonder, Liz McComb, Helen Carter, and Marianne Aya Omac (ex Ginkobiloba), on her latest album, Be my Witness.
During three years, Yoann has been establishing and directing his own Gospel choir, Le Choeur Enchanté. Since the last four years, he has been invited to give Gospel workshops all across Europe, including England, Italy, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and Finland.
Yoann graduated in 2008 from the University of Montpellier in the field of Music Therapy. He has worked intensively with children with autism and teenagers with stammering, bringing them the joy of music and showing them a way to achieve self-confidence from within. He himself experienced that through singing, particularly Gospel music, he was no longer overwhelmed by the stammering problem he'd had since the age of three.

In 2010, Yoann spent five months travelling through India, studying Indian Classical music, which deep spiritual roots elevated his own Art to new heights.

The main goal of Yoann's concerts is to share the inner Peace and Joy he feels through music, revealing a hidden treasure that we all have inside, which is just waiting to be awakened.
