@Dale9987 It depends on what software you are using. If you are using dev c++ or codeblocks, then press F9, if you are using visual studio, then press F5 :D

@Kryomega I noticed compilation is slower than w/ "standard" Dev-CPP, still have t see if the debuger was fixed in that offshoot of Dev-C++ as well. [Though there is a fix for the debugger, a version where it doesn't need to be patched is great, if one exists that is[

@Kryomega Very imperfect, but certainly not "the worst" of the worst by any means. I nowadays use WXDevC++ for non-GUI programming, and C# for my GUI apps. :D

Visual Studio makes it easy to develop GU driven programs - a hell of a lot easier than learning the Win32 [or whatever it will be nowadays] API and programming ALL THOSE FUNCTIONS by scratch... though the downside of Visual Studio is all the bloat it adds to even simple Hello World console apps. (

HOLY SHIT. I looked out my window, and realized that I just finally learned how to make something useful with the Microsoft Foundation Classes.. and then I saw a lady waking a dog that was taller than she was.. symbolic?? I think so.

How do you actually run C++ code? I have all the scripts for different games like hangman etc but have no idea how to run them.
