@redskins2k , You mean 2000 when the Lakers played against a passed his prime Reggie Miller and Chris Mullin in the finals, 2001 against Allen Iverson and a bunch of bums on the 76ers and 2002 when they played the 52 win NJ Nets who other than Jason Kidd had no real star just some nice players. Plus who won every Finals MVP of the first Laker 3 peat Shaq did he was the man on that team.

If you truly want to judge the talent of a basketball player, then judge the defense he was playn against. THAT IS WHERE U WILL SEE THE TRUTH!!! DOES KOBE PERFORM THE SAME STUNTS ON DEFENSES THAT SNATCH U OUT OF THE AIR WITH NO PUNINSHMENT AKA "FLAGRANT FOULS!!! " THE ANSWER IS NO. Jordan sliced and diced real defenses. I know b-ball isn't just about scoring but its important. I also know that this generation of fans think that they have the greatest players ever but I'm still partial to the 80s because in my opinion it was the best decade. Over half of the top 50 scoring leaders in NBA history played during the 80s. When u talk about the 80s ur talkin str8 buckets. It was a wonderful time.
