This was amazing! Nearly the best sound I ever herd, extremly well played. You could keep the lovely sound even in the most difficult parts, and you made it sound so easy! I'm very impressed!

@psgchisolm I don't think dark ruins the soloistic feel. I mean, euphoniums are extremely dark and are fine solo instruments. There's no reason, I think, as to why trombones can't be dark.

Amazing performance of czardas, you sound amazing, but you should consider doing this on a small bore, it's what lindberg used at the time and the smallbore sound sounds alot better than large bore because the large bore is more diffuse and darker which in my feel ruins the solistic feel. Overall GREAT PERFORMANCE.

This sounds really good. One thing I did when I transrcibed the solo was put it in Cminor/major instead of the original D. I found the slide positions a lot more comfortable and the range was nicer. I know it's not "authentic" but you might want to investigate that (if you haven't already) to make it sound even more awesome.

The world needs more plumbers...maybe you should consider giving up music.

You sound great and the band sounds great. I'm trying to get as much info on the different fleet bands as I can and Pacific will definitely be put in the 'good' column.

no, hes not!!! Nils landgren???..
Jos Jansen ??;)
Christian is not even best with this number ;)... you defenitly did not search enough ;)

you are good trombonist but why you don't try to play something what you can play? Lindberg is only one in the world!

great job. i can't wait 'til i enlist.
I first heard Czardas on that CD, and transcribed it as best I could - then arranged the full band version from my transcription. I hope I do it justice. I try. I've already realized I'll never be Christian Lindberg, but it's fun to try and pretend ;-P

hey all, thanks so much for your thoughts and comments. Lindberg was of course my inspiration, and if you listen, I'm trying pretty hard to immitate as much of what he does as I am able to. (listen to the Czardas on his 'the virtuoso trombone' CD - it'll make you mad, lol).
